FIFPro World XI Player Awards

Taylor Herring, the entertainment, music and media specialists are handling the PR account for the FIFPro World XI Player Awards held at the Wembley Conference and Exhibition Centre on the 19th September, in what should promise to be an excellent football event watched by over 300 million viewers.
The reason why it holds a high prestige is, the 55 man shortlistees were voted for by 38,000 football players from five continents, so the winner really will be the footballers’ footballer.
19 Premiership players are in the running, including, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Steven Gerard. My only question is, why wasn’t Alan Shearer in there?
