TypePad problems

I’m currently building a new blog using the TypePad platform and I’m having a little problem that’s annoying me immensely. I’m building up my sidebars with the usual content; feeds, contact details, blog roll, favourite reading and favourite music. It’s the latter two of this list that’s my cybre achiles heel. When I insert a pictures of favourite reading or music, it looks fine in Firefox. Like so:

But when I view it in IE it shows this:

Just text!
What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried the TypePad help pages with no joy and I’ve tried inserting the images a different way, with still no luck.
