The news is NowPublic

Came accross this interesting site, entitled NowPublic. You can submit news stories, pictures and videos. Looks like another site dedicated to citizen journalism. It says:

“ You can use NowPublic to share your photos and videos, get coverage of news you care about, and read news that you won’t see anywhere else.

At NowPublic you can:

* Point people to news and events that are important to you.
* Add your footage. Make the news better by contributing photos, video or audio to any news story.
* Store your footage, share your photos and videos with the world, and protect your intellectual property–all at the same time.
* Get free news footage to use on your blog.
* …and more!”

You can also update your news stories, tag them with keywords and track the popularity of them. There are other options also. Oh, and there’s an RSS feed for all news stories.
