Simple video streaming for blogs

Video Addon is a simple video streaming host for all Internet related platforms, but can be used particularly easy in blogs. It works with most popular video formats and has unlimited uploads (50MB each). It can also be used on dial up connection.
The downsides of usage is the pricing scheme isn’t flexible ($100 per year or $15 per month) but both price plans come with a free trial.
It definitely has a lot of potential, however, if you don’t plan on displaying a lot of video content on your blog, this may not be for you.
Looks like Google’s in on the act too. Read here

I’d tried using Firefox browser before and to be honest I didn’t really like it. I think it was mostly down to me so used to Internet Explorer and partly because of my lazyness in taking the time to see what it offered. However, I decided to give it one more try, and I’ve got to admit, it’s brilliant!
There’s so many extra options and plug ins, compared to IE. And viewing my lap top screen, it’s a lot more clearer. Not to mention how secure it is compared to IE.
If you don’t already use Firefox …..do! As they say on their website….”rediscover the web”.
Firefox has now been downloaded 50 million times! See here

The podcast begins on April 29 and it can be heard here
Now Steve Rubel has written about the new blog by cartoon character - The Family Guy.
Are we going to be seeing more ‘celebrity’ blogs and podcasts? Well after a little research, there’s a few already blogging:
Moby
Wil Wheaton
Barbara Streisand
This is a perfect way for celebrities to be close to their fans. Take a look at the amount of comments after Wil Wheaton’s posts! In their hundreds!
Who’ll be next? Blair? Bush?….Bin Laden?
Do journalists review press releases?

Read Ben Silverman’s evaluation of a survey he carried out with 50 journalists.
26% of journalists opened less than 50% of the press releases sent to them.
70% of them monitor press releases via Business Wire and PR Newswire. (Note - PR Fuel is a service of ereleases - who is an affiliate of PR Newswire)
